Abstract |
Factors associated with knowledge and Attitudes of rural woman towards some issues affecting family stability and the role of mass media in diffusion of knowledge in two villages – Alexandria and Behera governorates.
The main objective of this research is to study factors associated with knowledge and attitudes of rural woman towards some issues affecting family stability and the role of mass media in diffusion of knowledge in two villages – Alexandria and Behera governorates.
The specific objective's of the study were:
1- to study some personal, socio, economic and communicational characteristics of the participated rural women.
2- To study the knowledge level of the researched rural women about
some issues, namely: increasing people, children's works, Early
marriage, secret marriage, divorce, disjointed with husband,
women's work, illiteracy.
3- To study the type of the researched rural women attitudes towards this issues.
4- To study the role of mass media in diffusion knowledge of the researched rural women about this issues.
5- To study the factors correlated with the knowledge level and the attitudes level of rural women.
Date were collected from a random sample consisted of 200 women representing 8% of the total number of rural El – Balad in Beheria governorate.
