Abstract The main objective of this research was studying the relationship between characteristics of extension centers agents and their use degree of extension methods. A well prepared and pre-tested questionnaire was used to collect the data needed for this research through interviewing 68 agricultural extension agents who arc all agricultural extension agents working in extension centers in Kafr El-Sheikh Governorate. Frequencies, percentages, simple correlation coefficient, multiple regression and Chi square test were used to analyze the data statistically. The findings showed that: Related to the relative importance of extension methods, The extension methods were ranked in descending order as follows: 1- Demonstration meeting, panel meetings, and farm visits. 2- Extension magazines. 3- Extension bulletins. 4- Extension posters, lectures, office visits, telephone calls, rural radio programs, and rural T. It was found that there is a positive correlation at 0.01 probability significant level between using degree of extension methods as dependent variable and Job satisfaction Moreover, The study showed that a positive correlation at 0.5 probability level between using degree of extension methods and perception of concept and philosophy of the agricultural extension. The study showed that a negative correlation at 0.05 probability significant level between the using degree of extension methods and work-home distance. The results indicated that all the independent variables of this study explained about 359% of the variance in the dependent variable.
