Arabic : تأثير مصادر مختلفة للنيتروجين على النمو الخضرى و جودة محصول البسلة
Abstract Effects of five nitrogen fertilizer sources, i.e., ureaformaldehyde, ammonium nitrate, ammonium sulphate, urea and farmyard manure (FYM) vegetative growth, seed yield, and seed quality as well as some nutrients content of pea plants. To achieve this target, a field experiment was conducted on a sandy soil at El-Khatatba during season of 2005-2006.The obtained data confirmed the positive influence of different nitrogen sources on seed yield and main productive parameters of pea (i.e., dry weight of shoot, fresh seed, fresh 100 seed and number of pods.). The highest values of vegetative growth parameters were obtained in the case of ureaforemaldehyde. N, P and K contents as well as microelements of Fe, Zn and Mn contents of pea plants were improved by different nitrogen sources. Total amino acids, protein and total soluble sugar contents of pea seeds were enhanced by different nitrogen sources.Ureaforemaldehyde induced the highest values of both total amino acids and protein; however ammonium nitrate recorded the highest content of total soluble sugar
