English : Dietary life styles and its relationship with some socio-economic variables for rural family
Arabic : أنماط الإستهلاك الغذائى وعلاقتها ببعض المتغيرات الإقتصادية والإجتماعية للأسرة الريفية
Abstract This study objectives are: study dietary life styles for rural family, and determing its relationship with some socio-economic variables. Data were collected using a questionnaire in personal interview from a randome sample of 300 rural family in three villages in Behera, Menofia and Fayoum villages, simple correlation coefficient and Multiple Correlation and Regression analysis (Step-wise) were used to analysis data statistically, in addition to frequencies and percentages. The results of this study revealed that : (1) To know the average per capita in rural area comparison with the general average per capita from 95/96 years . - The lowest average per capita in rural area in animal meat, potatoes, Lents, food oil and fat oil. - The higest average per capita area in beau, rice, floor, sugar and tea. - Approximate average per capita in rural area in milk, fish , poultry and eggs. (2) From multiple correlation and regression analyses: - Milk and milk products: Two variables significantly affected the dietary life styles of rural family from milk. they were number of inhabitants 11.75% and house hold equipment owned 1.75%. Also two variables significantly affected the dietary life styles of rural family from milk products , they were number of inhabitants 9.67% and animal holding 2.15%. -Animals protein From meat, three variables significantly affected the dietary life styles of rural family. they were: household equipment 12.11%, and housing condition 7.69% number of inhabitants 3.13%, . From fish, two variables significantly affected the dietary life styles of rural family, they were: land holding 4.63%and the edcational of husbands 1.02%. From poultry, three variables significantly affected the dietary life style of rural family - they were household equipment 9.1%, number of inhabitans 3.55% and housing condition 1,58% From Eggs, two variables significantly affected the dietary life styles of rural family. they were: number of inhabitants 10.6%, and household equipment 5.2% . - legumes : From beaus, two variables significantly affected the dietary life styles of rural family : they were housing condition 10.13% , and number of inhabitants 5.12% . From lentils , land holding 8.5% . variable significantly affected the dietary life styles of rural family , - Cereals : From flower and rice , two variables significantly affected the dietary life styles of rural family they were: number of inhabitants 19.2%, 5.51% and housing condition 15.43%, 2.32% respectively. From potatoes , three variables significantly affected the dietary life styles of rural family . they were : number of inhabitants 9,33% , (2) housing condition 3,05% and household equipment 2.117%. - Fats and oils . From food oils, two variables significantly affected the dietary life styles of rural family . they, were :10.67°/n housing condition 1.53% and number of inhabitants From plant fats , two variables significantly affected the dietary life styles of rural fancily , they were: housing condition 16.83% and laird holding 11.13%, -Sugar and tea. From Sugar, tow variables significantly affected the dietary life styles of rural family , they were: number of inhabitants 10.53% and household equipment 4.45%. From tea , the age of mother 10.53%, and the animal holding 11.99% variables were significantly affected the dietary life styles of rural family. Based on the results of this study. they needs of adjust the population growth and nutrition counseling by the extension worker for rural family.
