Abstract |
This study aimed to recognize the {eve of rural women's innovativeness in the three first stages of innovations decision making process (knowledge, persuasion and decision ) a part from each other and when they are combined . Also studying the standard of living effect on this innovativeness
Data were collected from Garwan village at El-Bagour district of El-Monofia Governorate using personal interview questionnaire for a regular random sample amounting to (150) interviewees from female land holders and male holders wives from the agricultural cooperative records .
Tables, percentages chi-square and contengecy coeffecient were used to present and analiyze the data .
The study revealed the following main results :
1- 83.34%, 79.33% of the inter tiiewees had either moderate or high innovativeness in both knowledge and persausion stages respectively . While it was 56.67% of the interviewees had either moderate or high innovativeness In decision stage .
2- 70.66% of the interviewees had either moderate or high innovativeness in the three stages combined .
3- There is significant effect at the 0.05 level between interviewee's standard of living and their innovativeness in persuasion stage and no significant effect in either knowledge or decision stage .
4- No significant effect was found between interviewee's standard of living and their innovtiveness in the three stages combined .
