| Abstract |
This Study aimed to comparing farmers' attitudes towards woman participation in decision making related to some activities of plant production, animal production and poultry production in two villages, one of them in lower Egypt and the second in upper Egypt.
A random sample amounting to 150 interviewees who were inter¬vieviewed by a pretested questionnaire half of them were from Mostanad village, Shubrakhlet district of El- Beheira governorate lower Egypt, and the other half were from EL- Masaeed village, Gerga district of Sohage governorate in upper Egypt, Data werecoll¬ected by personal interview during august and septemper 1993 using a pretested questionnaire prepared for this purpose.
For data presentation and analysis tabulation, averges, standard deviation, relative variance coefficient, analysis of variance, L.S.D, and testing the significance of variance of two averages "C" statistical criteria were utilized.
The results reveald that the interviewed farmers' sample have positive attitudes, toward woman participation in decision making of the studied activities with a degree ranging between high and moderate. It was found also that there were significant differences between farmers in the two studied villages related to their attitudes towards woman participation in decision making related to studied activities.
