| Abstract |
Radio broadcasting programs, occupies an important role among other mass media methods. Therefore, most of the developing countries have been concerned with it, as vital agricultural information source.
The objectives of this study, concerning content analysis of the broadcasting program called "with Rural People", are to: Identify contest coverage rate of the five years agricultural developmental objec¬tives list 1962/1483 - 198611987. Identify fields and content of sub¬jects included in Radio program "with Rural People". Determine subject matter sources in the broadcasting program "With Rural People". Study forms of presenting, the broadcasting program.
This study narrowed its scope on content analysis of broadcasting program "With Rural People". This program is presented every sunday night from Alexandria local-broadcasting station, and prepared by the development support communication center at Mariut.
The research used two units as follows, subject unit and time unit, The techniques used to present and analyse the collected data are Frequency, percentages, weighted mean, Spearmans rank order correlation coefficient.
The results of the study were summarized as follows: - All the main objectives of the agricultural development five years Plan has been covered completely (100%). The objectives related to horticulture, improving the agricultural inputs, and improv¬ing breeding of livestock, have had much care and special inter¬est on the program. with regard to the subjects of the broadcasting program, it was found that the program showed Interest to the following areas in descending order: Agricultural production, social and religious spears and animal production. The results revealed that the individual sources had a high rate in providing information to the program, more than multisources. Regarding forms of broadcasting matters presented, the results showed that them were eight forms of subjects presentation. The individual speacth, and the conversation, were the once given more interest and care by the program through its frequent and the duration taken.
