| Abstract |
This study aimed to recognize the differences between farmers opinion leaders in lower and upper Egypt as results of different sub-cultural conditions. This study was carried out in eight villages in three governorates which are Kaiubiah and Monofiah in lower Egypt and Sohag in upper Egypt.
The study was conducted in two stages. first aimed to discovery Farmers opinion leaders in some maior areas of plant production through the sociometric approach. and the second stage aimed to recognize some traits of leaders which were determined in the first stace, Their number amounted to 534 leaders.
Data were collected through questionnaire by personal interview, percentages and chi-square were used to analyse the Data.
The findings revealed that. There are significant differences between farmers leaders opinion in lower and upper Egypt regaling
Family type. size of land lenure. sons porticpation in agricultural work. Family size. contact with change agents. contact with metropolitan ness.
