Two hymeno pterous species Bracon instabilis Marsnal as ectopora site and Apant eles litae ver.operculella nixon as endoparasite were identifid as parasitoids on P.opprculella Fenitrothion (KZ) and sumotomo), Reldan, Evisect these were not recomm ended for ptw. Control because of its adverse effect on insect paraitoids. As well the dangerous effect of residue on human and its envirorment. Here in the complete coverage of the tubers withone ortwice sprays by pathogenic bacteria B.Thuring iensis seemed tobe the most suitable method for the protection from ptw. infestation
