Abstract A field experiment was carried out to study the impact of two Fe-forms (FeSO4 and Fe3O4) and effective micro-organisms (EM) alone or together on seed yield and their chemical constituents of peanut (c.v. Giza 5) grown on the newly reclaimed sandy soils at Ismailia Agric. Res. Station. The treatments were 20, 30 and 40 kg/fed for FeSO4 and 60, 100 and 120 kg/fed for Fe3O4. Effective micro-organisms (EM) used as a foliar application in a ratio of 1:100 for EM solution: water, and spraying on the plants once every month starting from cultivation. The obtained data revealed that all the applied rates of FeSO4 led to a significant increase in seed yield, with superiority for 30 kg/fed FeSO4. Moreover, the chemical composition of seeds showed a significant increase in the uptake of N, P and Fe, while the reverse was true for P, Mn and Zn. As for Fe3O4, data showed increases in seed yield and their uptake of N, K and Fe, but these increases were insignificant. While, the uptake of P, Mn and Zn were tended to decrease. In general, application of EM alone or together with FeSO4 or Fe3O4 showed a progressive increase in seed yield, with a maximum value of 25.13 ard/fed at a rate of 30 kg/fed FeSO4. Also, data cleared significant increases for uptake of N, P, K, Fe, Mn and Zn as a result of EM foliar application
