| Abstract |
The rice crop is one of the main crops in Egypt, where the agricultural policy aims at maximizing the benefit from the productivity of agricultural land and water through the development of new varieties of high quality, productivity and low water use due to the limited availability of land and increasing the area of rice cultivation aimed at reducing imports.
The multiplication characteristics and the energy consumed for these new varieties are among the most important characteristic farmer, and they are evaluated on the basis of the percentage of the total crop, the percentage of healthy grains, the degree of bleaching, the change in food ingredients, the capacity consumed in the multiplication process.
