Field application on using local rock on materials for filtration media of micro irrigation systems

| Abstract |
Engineering tests is use to evaluate four local rock materials and three mixtures of it. These local media have the standard specification of laboratory tests of media in addition to foreign one. These eight types tested as field experiment include filtration efficiency, mean flow rate, long filtration cycle, pressure loss, flow rate reduction per-centage, and time consumed for filtering volume unit. The costs of filtering volume unit of water are considered a good parameter for selecting filtration media.
