| Abstract |
Hyper immune serum against the locally isolated strain of EHV-1 were prepared in both horse and rabbit. The experimental results revealed that neutralizing antibodies titer was 1.5 and 1.8 log10/0.2ml While Dot immunobinding and passive haemagglutinating test (PHA) antibody titer was 128,512 and 64,256 in horse and rabbit respectively. AGPT used for quantitative determination of the prepared serum. Comparative studies between the locally prepared and the imported hyper immune serum were done.
