The study included, unlike the introduction, six chapters, the first chapter of which reviewed the theoretical framework of agricultural mechanization, including the concept of agricultural mechanization, as well as the classification of agricultural mechanization, and the objectives of introducing agricultural mechanization in Egypt. The first chapter also included some justifications for the application of mechanization methods in Egyptian agriculture, and the chapter dealt with A second reference review of previous studies.
While the third chapter reviewed the most important Egyptian economic resources and their relationship to agricultural mechanization. They are land, water and human resources.
Chapter Four deals with how to select and describe the field study sample. Where the study relied on conducting a questionnaire on a sample of farms from Gharbia Governorate.
While Chapter Five dealt with the economic effects of using agricultural mechanization for wheat, rice, corn and cotton crops.
The sixth chapter briefly reviewed some of the determinants and variables related to agricultural mechanization and the extent of its spread in the study area in Gharbia Governorate.
This chapter also included the problems and obstacles facing the use of agricultural mechanization and the most important proposed solutions to overcome these problems.
The most important recommendations of the study:
In general, the results of the study refer to the recommendation to revitalize the role of agricultural cooperatives alongside agricultural engineering stations in light of market mechanisms in addition to strengthening the role of agricultural extension in the field of agricultural mechanization, so that it can benefit from everything new and modern in this field and thus increase production and result in an increase Net agricultural income.
