| Abstract |
In a field study, the predatory mite, phytoseiulus persimilis (A.-H) were released with rate (30-50) predator/tree on Almond and peach trees to control the two spotted spider mites Tetranychus urticae Koch. Release was carried out in two feddans at North Sinai Governorate. During the two seasons 2003 and 2004 the reduction of T. urticae on Almond was 58.8% and 98.33% in the seasons 2004 and 2003, respectively, while the reduction of T. urticae on peach was 81.1% and 86.6% respectively in the previous seasons.
