Abstract The aims of this research were to know the levels of coordination and its gaps, and correlation between degree of coordination and some independent variables among the A.R.0 Researchers, to know methods of coordination, the problems faced coordination in the local Research extension teams, and the suggeations of Researchers subjects to overcome these proplems . The research was selected a random sample amounting to 170 researchs, representing 50% of total extension research teams in the governorates of Bani Swaif, Minia, Daqahlia and Gharbia, which were randomly represented governorates of the Republic in various fields of agricultural activities in the studied governorates. Data were collected by using a questionnaire with interviews, and then primarily tested by 17 respond ant from the extension research team in Daqahlia Governorate in the month of May 2004 Having assured the validity of the questionnire Data were collected in June 2004. Data were analysied and presented through arithmetic mean, the weighted mean, standard deviation, range, the simple correlation coefficient (Person), and percentages. The most important results achieved by the research were as follows; As to the level of coordination, it was in medium lenel with little for more than half, and it was outlined that these two indicators were more clear: The experience moves smoothly, and members work dedicatedly. The indicators of lack of informal groups, means of transportation, devices, samples, incentives and bonuses were less clear in the extension research teams. As to the correlation between the degree of coordination and official degree in dealing, it was direct moral, and that the correlation between the degree of coordination and degree of routine complexity in dealing, it was reverse moral. The most important means of coordination were the interviews and group meatings. As to the problems of coordination, the most important effective ones on the coordination were in order as follows: Lack of material capabilities, insufficiency of means of transportation, unavailability of data bases, giant work required to be done, rarity of introduction meetings, postponement of some required works, difficulty of communication among members, and volume of team was not Ideal. The research respondants expressed their proposals to overcome these problems, the most important of which were: Defining the priorities of work, providing the necessary specialties, deciding what should be done in advance, providing data base, dividing the team into committees and making routes for the means of transportation. The team coordinator explained the role of members, provision of proper means of communications, training the members to work as a team, and increasing the financial credits for the team. The research expressed a number of recommendations to reactivate the work of these extension research teams.
