| Abstract |
The main objectives of this study were to:
Determine knowledge level of the respondent farmers concerning the technical recommendation special for sugar Beet Crop.
Determine the effect of the relation between the knowledge Ievel of respondent farmers concerning the technical recommendations special for sugar Beet Crop and all independent variables that are studied.
Identify the causes that motivate the respondent farmers for farming sugar Beef Crop.
Data were collected from random sample of 147 respondents from Sharkia governorate by personal interviews using protested questionnaire during June 2005. Data were tabulated, processed and analyzed by sing chi square, contingency me !clew, means, standard Deviation, arithmetic meant, coefficient of variance, in addition to frequencies, percentages.
The results of this study revealed that:
About 95.5% of the respondent, their level of the technical recommendations knowledge for the sugar Beet Crop was low.
There was a relation between knowledge level of the respondent farmers and size of agricultural ownership, the area planted with sugar Beet, the degree of the respondent education, the degree of participation in the social organization, the degree of the renewal, the degree of exposure to the agricultural information sources, the degree of participation in the extension activities.
