| Abstract |
In this investigation, fish were exposed to three different concentrations of unionized ammonia ( .03, .04, .05 ) and to high and low pH ranged between ( 9.5 and 5.5 0.2 ) with a therapeutic dose of CuSO .
Results revealed that fish exposed to UIA suffered of macrocytic hypochromic anaemia with highly increase of hepatic enzymes , hypoproteinaemia and hypoglycemia after 5 days & 10 days.
However, low pH ( 5.5 ± 0.2 ) caused the same effect with the exception of hypoglycemia.
These results emphasized the importance of periodical investigation for the stress environmental factors, which change CuSO4 therapeutic dose to toxic dose for the fish in treatment against some causative agents.
