Abstract |
The experiment was carried out at seds experimental station and Animal nutrition section, Animal production Reserch Institutes, Agriculture Research center to study the project of evaluating the intercropping summer legumes and grasses on chemical analysis , feeding value and growing lambs for four cuts.
The results could be summarized as follows :
1- Analysis of varisnce showed that the intercropping had significant effect on CP content . The highest CP% was found with treat. Band C.
2- There were significant difference between treatments for all nutrients digestibility
3- The feeding value of treat . D was higher than other treatments as TDN and SV. Treatment B and C were higher than treatment A and D as DCP .
4- The higher average of pH values were recorded in pre-feeding samoles for all treatments. And the differences among treatments were insignificant in (pH, NH3 and T . VFA) in the following two period .
5- Analysis of variance showed on significant difference among treatments in all blood paramters.
6- Daily weight gain (Kg / head ) in the first period in treatment C and D were slightly higher than the other two treatments.
7- There was significant differences among treatments in dreesing percentage.
It could that during summer season the intercropping legumes and grass achive good economic aimes compared with grasses alone .
