The second sample amounted 200 of farmers (10%) of the total farmers; selected from nine villages
Percentage, mean, simple and multiple correlation coefficient, step-wise, regression coefficient and t-test were used to analyse data statistically.
The results of the study revealed that : First: Personal Characteristics of Interviewees: epidemic I.P.M..
Second: Knowledge Needs of The A.E.As And Farmers With Recommendations And Practices of Epidemic 1.P.M.: 1-Knowledge needs of A.E.As: 44% of the A.E.As were strong and Midum knowledge needs with agricultural recommendations and practices of agricultural epidemics I.I.M., 52% were strong knowledge reeds with recommendation and practices of legislative control, 91.3% of employees were Midum and strong knowledge needs with recommendations and practices of Mechanical control, 55.3% were strong knowledge needs to biological recommendations and practices control, 77.3% were midum and strong knowledge needs with recommendations and practices of chemical control, 88% of A.E.As were midum and strong of total knowledge needs with recommendations and practices of cotton I.P.M.
2- Knowledge needs of farmers: 50% of respondents farmers were midum and strong knowledge needs with recommendations and practices of agriculture pest control, 63.5% were strong knowledge needs with recommendations and practices of legislative control, 93% were Midum and strong knowledge needs with recommendations and practices of Mechanical control, 78.5% of respondents were strong knowledge needs of biological control, 81% were Midum and strong knowledge needs with recommendation and practices of chemical control, 91% were midum and strong of total knowledge needs with recommendations and practices of cotton (I.P.M.).

2- Farmers: a-There was a reverse significant correlation relationship at 0.01 of significance level between knowledge needs of farmers with recommendations and practices of agricultural control and the following seven dependant variables i.e.: opinion leadership, cosmopolitness, extension communication, exposure degree to the information sources about I.P.M. attitude towards I.P.M., number of times applications of recommendation and practices of I.P.M. and quantity of cotton yield per Lenin per icddan. Also, there was a reverse significant correlation relationship at 0.05 of significance.
Fourth : Problems and suggestions :Many problems facing the agricultural extension agents and farmers from respondents points of view were mentioned, the eleven major problems were as follow: I- No existence for periodic agricultural land and no existence for application on the neigh bor crops. 2- Low price of cotton and control of the country of its prices. 3- No existence machines for grinding and hashing the stalks of cotton to utilize from it economically. 4- Shortage of extension printed materials about I.P.M. 5- Shortage of incentives for agricultural extension agents. 6- Shortage of extension meeting and pannels by A.E.As. 7- No existence of farmers conscious and per suasions of I.P.M. works. 8- Depending on a young children for doing I.P.M. work: in spite of their high wages. 9- :Lack of effective pesticides which used in I.P.M. 10- no existence of a modern spraying machines for Desticides. 11- Delaying the giving price of cotton to the farmers.
On the other hand, the A.E.As and farmers were suggested some suggestions to solve the previous problems which facing them while applied these recommendations and practices of I.P.M. for cotton epidemics. The major suggestion from the respondants points of view were mentioned as follow: 1- Increasing the prices of cotton and announce about it early to encourage the farmers for planting cotton. 2-Implemention of the periodic agricultural land especially in the neighbor crops. 3- Establishing extension demonstration fields. 4-Fulfillment the extension printed materials. 5-Increasing number of extension meeting and i annels in the field of I.P.M. 6-Finding other way instead of' manual control. 7- Fulfillment equipments and machines for grinding and hashing stalks of cotton plants after collecting white cotton to utilize economically by these stalks. 8-Non delaying in giving farmers their prices of their cotton.
Sixth : Recommendations : A- For the A.E.As : 1- According to the importance of professional, communicational and characteristics variables which correlated with A.E.As and farmers knowledge needs in I.P.M., its very necessary to look after these variables when preparing the training tournaments. 2- Because of 88% of A.E.As were midum and strong knowledge need with recommendations and practices of I.P.M. for cotton tournaments to reduce their gaps of knowledge needs in I.P.M. in Kafr El-Sheikh governorate. B- For The Farmers: I- To increase the effectiveness of extension programes for the farmers in Kafr El-Sheikh governorate with recommendations and practices of I.P.M. for cotton epidemics, it's necessary to look after the following: social, communicational, economical and personal characteristics, because differences of these variables are due to no utilization of extension communication in these programs. 2- Carrying out more of extension meetings and pannies to the farmers to increase the knowledge about I.P.M. for cotton epidemics and its ways to achieve high and safe products. 3- Intensive extension activities is very necessary between the different participant institutions in I.P.M. for cotton epidemics, in addition to integration and co-ordination between them to prepare and build a good programes for those ftirmers, because 91% of them were midum and strong knowledge needs of I.P.M. of cotton crops.
