English : Detection of genetic variability among mycoplasma bovis strains by random amplifiedpolymorphic DNA (RAPD) technique
Arabic : تحديد الأختلافات الجينية بين عترات الميكوبلازما بوفس باستخدام إختبار التكبير العشوائى للحامض النووى
Abstract Random amplified polymorphic DNA (RAPD) was used to distinguish among strains of M bovis isolated from cattle and camels. In present study, two ten base oligonucleotide primers were used individually to prime DNA synthesis from genomic DNA of M bovis strains. Results ofRAPD-PCR profile of M bovis isolated from cattle and camel showed the presence of varient 1-11 weaker and stronger DNA bands with each isolate. Each isolate was varied from others by the presence or absence of some other bands . The technique can distinguishe genetically the different strains of M bovis and provide a valuable tool for epidemiological typing of M bovis isolates.
