| Abstract |
Sixty strains of motile aeromonads spp were isolated from more ttype of fish from different localities in Egypt .Biochemical examination of the strains revealed that 78.3 % were Aeromonas hydrohan one phila ,15% were A. sobria 5 % were A. caviae and 1.7 % were A.veronii .The in-vitro antibiotic sensitivity testing for isolated aeromondas revealed that they were highly sensitive to danofloxocin and resistant to ampicillin and amoxycilin .The experimental infection indicated that motile aeromonads are widely different in their pathogenicity and A.hydrophila was the most pathogenic isolate .
