| Abstract |
Six isolates of yersinia ruckeri were isolated from Oreochromis niloticus . Isolate number 2 was more pathogenic isolate and used for experimental infection to study the effect of overcrowded infection with external parasites and transportation on experimentally infected fish .
The experimentally infected fish suffered from general signs of septicaemia and redness of head region and eyes .
