| Abstract |
A total number of 200 aquarium fish were examinede for the presence of Ichthyophonosis disease the result revealed that 86.7 % ,52 %, 50% and 4o % of Veilt, Tetras spp.,Guppies fish and Swordtail fish were infected with Ichthyophonosis hoferi . The infected fish suffered from sluggish movements ,dull colours and ascites . Squash preparation of internal nodules showed pathogenic germinating spores and hyphal formation short time after fish death
