A total 65 faecal samples were colleced from diarrheic cow calves less than 2 weeks of age from dams vaccinated with E. coli K99 vaccine (NOBI Vac. K99, lrtervet, Holland) and cultured on specific different media for isolation of E. coli K99 strains and Salmonella organism.
Seriological identification of E. coli K99 antigen by agglutination test using K99 diagnostic antisera, showed negative result for detection of K99 antigen.
Eight Salmonella strains were isolated.
Seriological technique showed two salmonella serovars, S. meleagridis (5 strains) and S. dublin.(3 strains).
