English : The job burnout among agricultural extension supervisor s and its relationship with some variables in some governorates in Egypt.

Abstract This study aims to identify the level of Job Burnout among extension supervisors and its relationship with some independent variables to deter-mine the contribution percentage of some independent variables which has significant correlation relationship which interpret the total difference of Job Burnout level for extension supervisors . This study was carried out in: Quana, Sohag, Sharkia and Beheira Governorates. 125 extension supervisors were chosen as a random sam¬ple, which represented 39. 31 % of the population. Data were collected using questionnaire with interview. Simple cor¬relation coefficient, multiple correlation and regression and percentages were the statistical analysis tools. The main results showed that : 86. 40 % of respondents were with experience levels either high or moderate of Job Burnout and this indicated that Job Burnout among exten¬sion supervisors was relatively higher. There was a positive significant relationship between the total degree of Job Burnout among extension supervisors and each of: work stress, or¬ganizational Loyalty, intention to leave Job and personality type and There was negative significant relationship between the total degree of Job Burnout among extension supervisors and each of: age, educational qualifying, period of working in extension, period of working in supervi¬sion, Job satisfaction and organizational climate. These seven independ¬ent variables contributed to interpret the 60. 62% of total differences in the Job Burnout degree among extension supervisors.
