The agricultural extension supervisors direct appraisal objectivity of agricultural extension agent's job performance and its relationship with some variables in some governorates in Egypt

Abstract |
The study aims to: identify agricultural extension supervisors appraisal objectivity of Agricultural extension Agents job performance and its relationship with some independent variables to determine the contribution percentage of some independent variables which have significant correlation relationship which may interpret the total difference of extension supervisors appraisal objectivity of agricultural extension Agents job performance.
This study carried out in Behera, Kefr El-Sheik, Mania and Sohag Governorates. A sample consisted of 165 extension supervisors were chosen randomly sample, which represented 39% of the population.
Data were collected using postal questionnaire. Simple correlation coefficient, multiple correlation and regression "step-wise" technique, means, standard deviation, range and percentages were the statistical analysis tools.
The main results showed that:
I) 66.06% of the respondents were their objectivity appraisal level of agricultural extension agents job performance either low or moderate. This indicated that extension supervisors objectivity appraisal of agricultural extension agents job performance were relatively low.
2) The relationship was positive and significant between the total degree of extension supervisors appraisal objectivity of Agricultural extension Agents job performance and each of: Age, period of working in Agriculture. period of working in extension, period of working in supervision, training delivery. kind of training of, benefit of training, satisfaction relation with co-workers. satisfaction relation with chiefs, satisfaction with agents. organizational loyalty, achievement motivation and job satisfaction. The findings showed that five independent variables contributed to interpret the 51.59% of total differ¬ence in the degree extension supervisor's appraisal objectivity of agricultural extension agents job performance as a dependent variables.
