| Abstract |
The research aimed at determining the difference levels of the agricultural extension centers officers (AEC) dealing with their deficiencies in each of mental, social, creative, and communication abilities and skills.
The study conducted in all of (AEC) in Gharbia, Monfia, Dakahlia, Benyswef, Fayom, Menia, Sohag, Qena, and aswan governorates. These centers reached 59 . Data were collected from all (AEC) officers population(59) .
A questionnaire was designed and tested as data collect tool constituted mainly from (42) indicators of deficiencies in the abilities and skills; (15).for mental, (11) social, (8) creative and (8) for communication skills.
Chi Square and (t) test were the statistical tools for analyzing. Results revealed that there were deficiencies in many items of the studied abilities and skills among the majority of the respondents.
Each difference between respondents levels about their deficiencies was significant, except in the communic-actionskills. The study extracted the percentages of the respondents who had deficiencies in each indicator.
Results would benefit the extension administrators to develop successful training programs to promote the abilities and skills of AEC officers.
