Arabic : العلاقة السيرولوجية بين البروسيلا أبورتس واليرسينيا انتيروكولوتيكا أو:9
Abstract Infection with Yersinia enterocolitica O:9 represent the most important source of false positivety in serological diagnosis of brucellosis to economic losses and complicated eradication programs. A total of 100 positive serum samples of cows with different titers of brucella antibodies which previously identified by using conventional serological tests “ Rose Bengal test, RBT and TAT”. Whole bacterial extract, treated extract “LPS” and cytoplasmic protein of Brucella abortus and Yersinia enterocolitica O:9 were prepared and used in indirect ELISA “as antigen”. The prevalence rate of brucellosis ranged from 79% to 90%with different titres using different 3 brucella antigens used in ELISA, while prevalence of antibodies to Y.enterocoltica O:9 was between 18% to 345 with the 3 extracts antigens prepared from Yersinia enterocolitica O:9 , 11 sera samples demonstrated cross reactivty between Y. Enterocolitica O:9 and Brucella abortus mainly in low titres
