English : A study of behaviour level of palm trees farmers and the suitable extension communication methods for them at Albrolos and Motobes districts, kafr el-sheikh governorate

Abstract This Research is mainly intended to determine farmers knowledge, executive and attitudes levels of palm trees technologies, also to identify the fanners resources from which they get such technologies, and their suitable extension communication methods. A questionnaire was prepared and used to collect data through personal interviews from 183 respondents Percentages, means, %%tight, mean degree, frequ¬ency distribution, standard deviation, simple and multiple correlation, partial coef¬ficient, 'T' test and "F" test were used to analyze data. The major findings of this research could be summarized as follows : 1. Low knowledge and executive level of the respondents concerning many items of the palm trees technologies. 2. The majority of the respondents have neutral on negative attitudes towards palm trees technologies, also low exposure to knowledge resources and the extension communication methods in this regard. 3. The respondent, favourite: the farm visit and T. V and extension communic¬ation methods. 4. The independent variables which includes: the wife educational level, farm size, number of palm trees of farmer, tendency to change, exposure to inform¬ation resources, exposure to extension communication methods, leadership degree, and the aspiration level, are found to be significantly influenced in the respondents behaviour level of palm trees farmers. 5. In addition to that, the findings have pointed out some problems in palm trees cultivation and the respondents suggesties to solve such problems.
