| Abstract |
The main objectives of the study were : to identify change in rural house of the Egyptian village , and its impact on agricultural land area in a Village located in Sharkia governorate (Darwish village , Fakkous District) . the study sample size was composed of 100 family heads the study unit was rural family . the study sample was drawn randomly by dividing the village area into five blocks , from each 20family heads were taken , the study data were collected during march 2005 .A pre tested written questionnaire and interpersonal interviews were used for the study data collection . Frequency tables , chai-square , simple correlation coefficients ,and step-wise multiple regression .
The main findings of the study were as the following :
-There was a significant change in all characters of rural house (at 0.01
significance level) ,with the exception of charge in clothing store which was significant at 0.05 significance level .
-It was found that the three variables of obtained educational level ,period
of applied experience ,and the respondent's age combined together interpreted a bout 37% of the variance in the dependent variable of change in using woods .
-The study findings indicated that change in rural house due to population increase led to depletion of agricultural land ,by using part of it in constricting new house , and land fertility reduction due to using polluted irrigation water which has a harmful impaction humans, animals, and plants.
