English : Study of some variables that affect the efficiency of the agricultural agents in using the extension aids in Behairah governorate
Arabic : دراسة بعض المتغيرات المؤثرة على كفاءة استخدام المرشدين الزراعيين للمعينات الإرشادية في محافظة البحيرة
Abstract This study aimed to measure the efficiency of using the extension aids by agricultural agent, through the following sub-goals study of the available extension aids, efficiency of the extension agent in using these aids, which of them they prefer to use, determining the relation between the using efficiency and the independent variables, besides the opinions of the agents in the obstacles in the obstacles in using these aids, and how to overcome these obstacles: The main findings are: • Visual aids came the first, then audio aids, and audio visual aids, subsequently, from the point of view of availability. • Low percentage of the efficient agents in using the extension aids. • High percentage of preference of using some aids like: posters, video tapes, audio recording, public address equipments, photographs, educational cinema, and graphs. • There is a significant relation between efficiency of using the extension aids by the agents and each of: age, experience in extension field, career satisfaction, training courses, and training in using these aids. • The main obstacles in using the extension aids are: training shortage, rotten complications, shortage in technicians, and low salaries.
