| Abstract |
The study aims at identifying some aspects regarding the family decision making of borrowing from the bank. These aspects were: the decision extension, who is the decision maker, decision methods, decision stability, and decision reasons. To achieve the study objectives a questionnaire was designed and filled through personal interviews. Data were collected from a random sample of 180 family represent heads 10% of the total number of families at TAG EL-EZ village in Dakahlia governorate. The sample was divided into to equal group. Data of the first group were obtained from wives and the other from husbands. "Chi-square" test was used to analyze the data the data.
Results revealed that the majority of the total respondents (75.6%) have not taken such decision before. Most respondents mentioned that, the decision not take individual decision making process occurred after a after a moderate discussion between members. About half of total respondents showed their willingnessless to take such decision in future. Generally, the most important reasons stand behind taking such decision were: support small projects, purchasing farm inputs, and get out of debts activity expansion.
