Studying fertigation technique and its effect on soils and plants [Technology of fertigation in sandy soils]
Dates Starting Date: 10/2005    Expected End Date: 10/2007   
Objectives The objectives of this research proposal are to conduct a survey to identify mineral and organic fertilizers avaiable for fertigation, studying the effects of fertilizers and chemicals used in fertigation method, determine the best method to control salt accunulation around plants and evaluate the dissolved organic fertilizers.
Achievements 1- The research team conducted field experiment on potato crop during the 2005-2006 wither season under the sprinkler and drip irrigation systems.
2- Peanut crop for the 2006 summer season was sown.
